With 2016 just a little over a week away you should be thinking of some goals you would like to reach and try to think of what you need to do to make more money than you did in 2015. Here lately, I have given this a whole lot of thought and In this blog post, I’m going to share 7 things that are absolutely crucial if you want to make more money than you have ever made before with your online business.
1.Change Your Mindset & Starting Thinking Outside The Box
In order to reach any goals and make any life changing money you are going to need to have confidence in yourself and know that you can do this. If you are still stuck with the mindset of someone who works 9-5 then you won’t get very far in this business. You need to the have mindset of an Entrepreneur. Start thinking outside of the box a little and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone.
Search for other affiliate programs to join within your niche so that you’ll have multiple sources of income coming in at all times. Just remember, if you can make one sale you can make 1,000 sales and more. If you put your mind to it, anything is possible and I am living proof of that. I had to change my mindset before I started making any good money with affiliate marketing.
2. Make Wise Decisions When Choosing Your Friends & Who You Associate With
Did you know that the people you hang out with can affect your overall success with an online business? Some of the most successful people didn’t make their way to the top by hanging out with people that didn’t believe in them or people with a 9-5 mindset.
I just recently got rid of a few negative people in my life that were starting to pull me down to their level and keep me from reaching my goals. If you surround yourself with losers then eventually you’ll start picking up their habits and they’ll take you down to their level if you let them. Instead, you should be surrounding yourself with like-minded people who think positive and have an entrepreneur mindset.
You wouldn’t believe what a change it has made for me already within only a few short weeks. If you want to make it to the top it’s gonna take lots of hard work and dedication. You may also have some sleepless nights but in the end, it will be worth every minute that you put into it.
3. Open Up Your Communication Methods & Make Yourself More Available
Affiliate marketing is all about helping people find the information they are looking for online by providing them with a solution to their search queries. The more you open yourself up to people, and offer more ways for people to contact you this will naturally lead to more trust, more interaction and, of course, a whole lot more money in your pocket.
People need to feel like you are there for them and that you can provide them with the highest quality information out there for their search query. Instead of just having your email address and your social media networks listed, also include your skype id and possibly your youtube channel if you have one.
Once people contact you and they want to talk to you on the phone give them a call. Once I did this in my business I noticed that my revenue went up quite a bit. This will also give you a confidence boost and improve your social skills.
4. Don’t Be Afraid To Invest Into Your Business
Once you are making, at least, $1,000 per month with your business it’s always a good idea to put that money back into it by investing in PPC (Paid advertising) (FB Ads)so you can target your audience down and get more targeted leads for very little money. SEO is great for people who are just starting out, but ultimately as time goes on you’ll going to want to invest at least $100- $200 into this advertising platform.
If you think a shiny new header or fancy logo would make your site look more professional then by all means invest the money into this. By doing this, you’ll be growing your overall revenue and isn’t that one of the reasons were here to begin with?
They always say you need money to make money and this is where that statement would especially be true. I plan on investing into paid advertising at lot in 2016 and adding this as another one of my sources for traffic.
5. Keep A Positive Mindset Even When Things Don’t Go As You Expected
I know sometimes when things don’t exactly go our way we tend to get depressed and start looking at things negatively. Even though you may be having a hard time it’s important to keep a positive mindset and don’t let this distract you from reaching your goals. This is yet another thing that I have struggled with this past year, but going forward, I plan on looking past all the negativity and looking at things in a more positive way. If you keep a positive mindset and look on the bright side of things, things will start getting better for you, you just need to stay positive.
6. Never Settle For The $$$ You’re Making Now Or Get Comfortable With Your Current Situation
This is something I struggled with myself when I first started out in the online world. Do You want to know why? I was still stuck in a 9-5 mindset and even though I was making good money I got comfortable with what I was making.
Instead of planning for the future and looking for ways to make more money I settled for what I was making. You should always be looking forward to the future and looking for ways to grow your business and make more money.
A true entrepreneur is always looking for ways to grow their business and ultimately make more money. Never settle for what you’re making right now or get comfortable with your situation.

7. Be More Consistent
If you expect to make more money in 2016 you’re gonna need to devote a whole lot more time into creating more quality content and growing your online business. Having an online business isn’t that much different from having a brick and mortar business in the outside world. Let me ask you guys a question! Let’s say you have a business in the outside world and you have been in business for a couple of years now.
Business is good and you are starting to get some regular customers in your store. Do you think you’re going to make more money if you are only open 2 days a week? Chances are that you will end up losing business and not making much money. The same thing goes with an online business.
You need to keep your content fresh and up to date. Once your website starts getting noticed and you start getting traffic to it, you are going to get returning visitors who like what you have to say and want to hear more from you. Being consistent and keeping your website up to date is probably one of the key elements that decide whether you make it in this business or not.
This is another thing that I have struggled with and something I plan to work on in 2016.

As we head into 2016 it’s imperative that you remove all the negativity from your life and focus on what you would like to accomplish in the new year.
