What Exactly Is Work At Home Institute?
This site was started back in 2012 by Bobby Robinson. This is one of the many clone sites out there that promises you can start making money the minute you sign up by simply posting links.
Really? This sounds like what the majority of all these other so called make money online opportunities tell you doesn’t it?
Let me add that this is one of the online scams that I fell for back in 2008 when I used to have a J.O.B and I was looking for a way to make money online. It wasn’t this exact program, but once you have seen one you have pretty much seen them all.
The only thing they do is change the name and maybe add a thing or 2 to it.
They also claim that you don’t need any prior experience and anyone can do this from home. Keep all of this in mind as I dig deep into this program and reveal if this is worth your time and money or if this is another program to add to your growing list of online scams to avoid.
What Will You Be Doing Once You Join?
Once you join they tell you how much big name companies are in need of people to post links for them and the huge demand that there is for this type of job online.
They claim that these big name companies are willing to pay you top dollar for simply posting and processing so many links per day. They even go as far as telling you that you can make up to $300 an hour for doing this type of work.
Damn, it looks like I’m in the wrong business and I need to jump on this fast. If this is true then I wonder why everyone isn’t doing this if it’s really this easy?
How Much Money Do They Claim You’ll Make?
They have a calculator on their site that you can use to calculate how much money you can potentially earn with this program.
I have provided a screenshot of this below
Any company that promises you such high earnings for easy work should raise a red flag and alarm bells should start going off in your head.
Making money online is definitely possible but I can guarantee you it’s not gonna happen with this program.
Fake News Report
This is one of the things that really got me back when I decided to join. They do a really good job at making you think that they really are on the news.
Let me ask you a question, when was the last time you actually heard about an online money making opportunity on the local news?
I don’t know about you, but I have never heard of any and I watch the news twice a day.
In this special report, they tell you about “Patty” a single mom who used to be a production assistant at NCB10 and after having her son she could no longer put in the long hours that she was required to at her job.
She then found this WAH opportunity and is now making a 4 figure income from posting links on websites.
This is actually called an advertorial and these kinds of videos are used across many other scam sites to fool you and make you think they are legit.
Limited Availability
This is the start of their lies and deception and this seems to have a snowball effect the deeper I dig into this program. They tell you that space is very limited and you need to enter your zip code and email address to see if they have any positions left in your area.
They do this for 2 reasons!
- They do this to trick you into thinking this is reserved exclusively for you so you will take action and buy their product.
- Once they have your email address they can send you other offers and fill your inbox up with junk messages.
Both of these things are a marketing tactic and used by many programs that are set up in this fashion to get you to swoop this offer up before it’s gone.
Apparently, these positions must exist in the cloud somewhere since I put in a fake area code and there still happens to be 3 positions available somehow. It doesn’t matter what you put in it’s still going to say there are 3 positions in your city.
Multiple Identities
Like I said earlier, I had actually fallen victim to this scam way back in 2008 before I was introduced to Affiliate Marketing. I don’t remember exactly what name they were running under back then, but still to this day they are running under multiple names.
Listed Below Are A Few Names They Use Today:
- Wahinstitute.net
- Wahinstitute.org
- Wahinstitute.com
- Home job institute
- Excel cash flow
- Work at home institute
- Plus many others
All of these lead back to the same scam and personally for me this is a huge red flag and something that you should completely avoid at all costs. It’s programs like this that give the internet marketing industry a bad name and this is why people are so skeptical when it comes to making money online.
My Closing Thoughts On WAHI & My Personal Recommendation
While this program may have come into existence in early 2012, scams like this have been floating around in the online world for quite some time now. As a matter of fact while I was watching their fake news report it sounded really familiar and now that I come to think about it, this is 1 of the many scams that I fell for when I first started out online.
This was in the year 2008 and back then I was working at Wal-mart in the deli. I remember that I paid $97 for the product and $200 for some upsell that promised to make me more money. Doing this review has brought back some memories for me and makes me so glad that I now get to expose these scams instead of falling for them like I used to do all the time.
To be honest with everyone here today, this was probably one of the biggest scams I had fallen for back in the day. I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if I recommended this program to anyone because it’s nothing but a waste of money.
I go into more detail on a few things to watch out for with programs setup like this on a blog post I wrote a while back. It’s No 2 on that page. Can you really get paid for posting links online? Yes, you can, but there’s a whole lot more to it than that. This is only one of the things you’ll need to do.
This Is Called Affiliate Marketing And This Involves:
- Writing articles and reviews on something you are passionate about
- posting your affiliate link on your review pages
- Get paid every time people click on your link & make a purchase
I have been doing this for 3 years now and I make a full time living by simply recommending products that I already use every day. I get paid a commission whenever someone makes a purchase based on my recommendation.
Wealthy Affiliate is the place that has showed me how to do this and you can actually Get Started For Free today and test drive everything they have to offer without risking a single dime of your money.
I hope that I have been able to save you guys a couple hundred dollars by avoiding this well known scam and also save you the hassle and frustration of having to go through the refund process.
Do you have a previous experience with WAHI that you would like to share with everyone here today?
I would love to hear about it and by doing so, you’ll be helping other people avoid being scammed by this company. please feel free to leave your experience in the comments section below.

Hello Scott,
Thank you so much for sharing your story of being scammed by this company. This is disheartening to hear but I’m glad you learned your lesson and that you have become a whole lot more scam smart than you were years ago. It’s companies like Work at home institute that give the internet marketing/ make money online industry a bad name.
I haven’t been a victim of this particular scam but I have fallen for many get rich quick schemes that promised me millions of dollars for little to no time effort.
I want to thank you for putting together such a thorough review of this company and I’ll make sure to avoid WAHI in the future.

You are most welcome Iram!!
It’s a shame that WAHI would rather scam people out of their hard earned money than provide them with any quality training. Over the years, I’ve learned how to become scam smart and learn how to detect a scam.
I agree with you that companies like WAHI give the internet marketing industry a bad name. I’m glad that this review has provided you with the information needed to avoid being scammed yet again and I really want to thank you for stopping by Iram.
Cheers

Thank you so much for this thorough review, Scott!
Like you I have also become a victim of many of these different versions of this scam. I was told that there were limited positions in my area and they would be all filled here soon. Their marketing tactics got the best of me and I acted on my impulses and bought into their scam. I just thought I would drop by and share my experience with your readers so that they can avoid falling into this trap and save them from being the next victim.

You are very welcome Smith and I’m glad that this review has helped you out.
While I was reviewing this program, I couldn’t help but think back to 2008 when I fell for this advertorial scam and I’m glad that I’m much smarter now and know to avoid these types of programs in the future.
Like you, I also acted on my impulses and was gullible enough to believe that there was a limited amount of positions left.
I’m sure that there are many people who have bought into programs that are setup like this and I can only hope that they do their due diligence beforehand and are able to read my review first.
I really do want to thank you for stopping by Smith and sharing your experience that you’ve had with this company with everyone today. You have just helped other people avoiding throwing away their hard earned money on this program.
Cheers
