With all the mixed reviews out there about Yoonla you may be wondering what this is all about and whether this is another scam or a legitimate way to earn a living online.
Well, after lots of researching and a great amount of time and effort I have come up with enough information to write a detailed review on this system and I’ll be revealing everything that I uncovered with you guys today.
How does this system work? Is it possible for a newbie with limited knowledge to come here and be successful?
Ultimately, how much money can you earn with this system?
I reveal everything in the following review!!
Yoonla Review
Company Name: Yoonla
Company Website URL: yoonla.com
Company Owner: Reno Van Boven
Type Of Work: Recruiting
Cost To Get Started: Free + upsells
Overall Rank: 2.5 out of 5 Stars
Product Overview & Brief Description
Yoonla launched back in Sept 2016 by Reno Van Boven. He claims that there are currently 1.2 million members with this number going up drastically as we speak.
He also claims that he has been living the digital lifestyle for 12 years now (since 2006) and that he is here to help you do the same thing.
Haven’t we heard this before?
Reno has launched many other systems in the past with Affiliate App System & Auto Affiliate X being his 2 most recent ventures into the online marketing world.
As of today March 24th, 2018, both of these systems are no longer in existence and the Affiliate App system was discontinued just days before the official launch of Yoonla.
Sound a little fishy to you guys?
The same thing was going through my head as well so trust me you’re not alone in thinking this!!
There are currently 3 phases of this system that are being rolled out over time with phase 2 launching just last month (Feb 2018)
What Exactly Is Yoonla?
According to the sales video, Reno claims that this is a digital marketing training academy that teaches mostly email marketing but also dabs into a little CPA marketing as well.
Like I said earlier, there are 3 phases that are being rolled out with the possibility of more phases being added in the near future.
There are currently 2 membership plans for you to choose from at this point in time.
- Starter
- Elite
The starter membership comes with limited training as well as lesson pdf files and email swipes.
You also gain access to their evolve app that comes complete with tracking software and analytics that show how many leads a day you’re getting.
Obviously, as an elite member, you get more training, support and you’ll unlock the ability to earn commissions promoting this system.
More on this here in a few minutes so continue reading!!
Training & Tools
As I continued to make my way through the member’s area and I started going through the training, I discovered that this system is based on recruiting other people.
There are a total of 7 steps that you’ll need to follow and I’ll be listing these for you below!!
- Step 1- Setup your evolve app and conversion tracking software
- Step 2- Create your automation account
- Step 3- Setup your automation campaign
- Step 4- Create your small business account
- Step 5- Get your evolve app online
- Step 6- Customization of your evolve app
- Step 7- Activating your affiliate & elite upgrade
Out of the 7 steps listed above, at least 3 or more requires you to sign up for a separate service and pay for it before you can move forward in the training.
Listed below is a visual representation of everything I’ve covered above
There are also a few other videos that talk about traffic generation but most of these videos talk about paid traffic.
Not something I would recommend to a newbie who is just getting started online!!
When it comes to delivering high quality tools, this is where Yoonla fails to deliver and this is one of the many things that threw up a red flag for me and I’ll be discussing this next.
Instead of having their own affiliate tools in-house, you’ll need to rely on (Pay extra) many outside sources for you to get the job done and get everything up and running.
This includes places like Lead Pages, Yahoo Domains & Hosting, Get Response + many others.
Why do they have things set up like this you may ask?
Simple, every time someone joins as a paying member they receive a pretty hefty commission from each one of these places that I’ve listed above.
Pretty sneaky if you ask me, wouldn’t you guys agree?

The Good
- Free To Get Started
- Doesn’t rely on hype to sell
- Reno does a great job explaining things
The Bad
- You need to pay to become an affiliate
- Recruiting based
- Uses tricky marketing tactics
- Need to rely on outside sources for affiliate tools & software
- Uses paid traffic (Which can get expensive)
- Not recommended for newbies
How Do You Make Money With Yoonla?
Since this system is based solely on recruiting you would need to recruit other people into this system using something called an affiliate link.
However, in order to gain access to the marketing tools that you’ll need to get out there and start recruiting you’re going to need to invest in many outside services like I mentioned earlier.
Once you have upgraded your account and completed the 7 steps that I’ve listed above you’re all set and ready to start earning affiliate commissions.
You can earn up to $4 for each successful lead that opts into this system using your unique affiliate link.
Furthermore, you can earn up to a $60 commission for each lead that upgrades to the elite membership as well as a 60% commission on any product upgrades that they purchase as well.
How Much Will This End Up Costing You In The Long Run?
This is the tricky part and like I said earlier, where the red flags started to pop up all over the place.
I’ll explain what I mean by this below.
Technically it’s free to sign up, get started, and go through the training.
However, in order to successfully complete all the steps within this training, you’re going to need to rely on a few outside sources to gain access to the affiliate tools needed to get everything up and running.
This includes things like:
- Your own domain name
- Hosting
- Autoresponder
- Among other things
If you were free to sign up for these tools wherever you would like, then this probably wouldn’t be so bad and likely wouldn’t cost you nearly as much as you’ll need to pay from the companies they have chosen for you.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the case since they have already hand-picked these companies out for you.
Listed below is a rough estimate of how much you can expect to pay for these services below!!
- Domain name $15/yearly minimum
- Yahoo business account 1 year @ $5.89/month (Annual plan required) $70.68
- Get response autoresponder service $15/ monthly
- Yahoo hosting starting @$2.49 /monthly and up
As you can see this can get quite expensive (upwards of $100) just to get started and complete all the required steps in the training.
Not to mention and upsells or product upgrades that you’ll encounter in the member’s area as well.
Supposedly you can get the elite membership for free after going through all these companies and creating a paid account with them.
Looking for a more cost-effective way to build a business online that comes with everything you need to get started with NO additional costs?
Let’s see how Yoonla stacks up to my #1 recommendation for building a REAL business online!!
Is Yoonla A Scam?
I definitely wouldn’t go as far as to say that this is a scam cause this is far from the truth.
However, I wouldn’t recommend this system to anyone looking to make money in the online space for several reasons.
Any product or service that doesn’t give you options and requires you to promote their product or service exclusively is up to no good.
Not only does this put a bad taste in my mouth, but it also leads me to believe that they could really care less about you and their main concern is to fatten their pockets with your hard earned money.
Also, most of the things talked about in the training are basic marketing techniques that can be acquired for free by doing a simple Google search.
Another thing that I really didn’t like was being sent to many third party companies and having to create multiple accounts with them.
I usually use Aweber for my email marketing campaigns but had to go to Getresponse which I know absolutely nothing about.
If you’re drawn to recruiting systems like this one then, by all means, have at it and don’t let me stop you.
If you have experience with this type of thing then you may do very well here.
However, for those of you who don’t enjoy being used as a way for Reno to fatten his pockets at your expense and you would rather choose your own path to make money online, then listen up and pay close attention.
A Much More Practical & Cost Effective Way To Build A Business Online
Building a business online has got to be one of the most rewarding careers you could ever embark on.
Not to mention that building a website and learning how to market it has been one of the most fun and exciting things I have ever done in my entire life.
If you’re anything like me, then chances are that you like to have options and you don’t want to feel like you’re required to recruit people just to make money.
Am I right?
For years I tried my luck with these recruiting systems and spent thousands of dollars on them trying to get them to work for me to no avail.
Eventually, I was able to stumble onto Wealthy Affiliate which let me choose my own path and let me decide how I wanted to earn money instead of forcing me to promote their program.
Not only that, but they also didn’t send me off to other third-party companies just so they could earn a commission off me and trick me into thinking they were giving me something of value for free.
Instead, they provided me with all the tools, training, help & support under 1 roof and even let me get started for free.
If you’re serious about learning how to build a REAL business online that lets you pick your own direction and walks you through how to set all of this up step by step then I think WA would be a much better fit for you.
At the end of the day, this decision is totally up to you and I really hope this review has given you an inside look at everything offered with Yoonla and whether this system would be a good fit for you or not.
