In this Clixsence review, I’m going to expose everything about this company, along with showing you exactly what it is, how it works, and what you’ll be doing once you join. I have written this review based on my actual experience with the company so you can expect nothing but the truth and my honest and unbiased opinion.
For the benefit of readers that are not familiar with this program, I am going to give a really brief overview of the company, and how it works.
What Is Clixsense?
It was founded by Steven Girsky in 2007 and transferred the ownership over to James or (Jim) Grago in May of 2010. It’s a legal and legitimate business that has been in operation for 9 years now. This is basically an advertising platform that offers a variety of different ways to make money. For those of you who are familiar with PTC sites then you already know what this program is all about. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this business model here’s a basic overview of what it consists of below.
There are 2 types of people that this program caters to which are
- Advertisers looking to get traffic to their website and affiliate offers
- People looking to earn money via clicking on ads, playing mini games, participating in trial offers, and taking surveys. Unlike many other programs that are setup in a similar fashion, Clixsense offers a wide range of opportunities to earn money. They also have an affiliate program where you can also earn money by referring other people to their site via your affiliate link.
This is probably 1 of the most lucrative ways to earn money with this program and I’ll be covering this is full detail as well within this review.
Who is Clixsense for?
This program is targeted towards people who like to waste time and get paid very little for their time. If you are the type of person who would rather click for pennies instead of learning how to build a business that produces dollars instead of cents then I think this program would make a good fit for you.
On another note, like I mentioned earlier, this program also caters to advertisers looking to get traffic to their site via ads. If you’re the type of person who enjoys watching videos, playing games, and taking surveys with the potential to make some pocket change in the process, then I think you’ll feel right at home with Clixsense.
How Can You Make Money With This Program?
Let’s talk about the earning potential of this program for a couple minutes and get into some of the finer details associated with their compensation plan.
- Pay To Click Ads(PTC)- This is one of the lowest paying tasks in this whole program and personally I don’t feel like this is even worth your time.
Take a look at the screenshot below to get an idea of how much you can make per minute
Get paid to take surveys- While this seems to have a slightly higher payout than the PTC ads, they also require a lot more of your time. I found myself spending around 15-20 on each one and only making $2- 3 max. You can unlock higher paying surveys after you successfully complete the ones available to you.
Let’s take a closer look at the earning potential below!
Trial offers- If you have been online for any amount of time chances are that you should already be familiar with how trial offers work. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this basically, these are companies that are affiliated with the Clixsense network in some way. You’ll be required to sign up for a free trial with these companies which usually requires you to provide your credit card details in order for you to get credit for completing the offers.
Personally for me, I ended up spending more money than I made with trial offers and I found it to be very time consuming. I also found myself having to jump through a bunch of hoops and having to deal with the frustration of canceling these trials before they charged my card after the 7 day period. Definitely not worth your time or energy in my opinion.
Some offers require you to remain an active paying member for a certain period of time. If you don’t follow their instructions clearly then you’ll be disqualified and won’t get credited for the offer.
Playing Clixgrid- This is a daily game you can play that offers you the potential to earn up to $10 each day. All you need to do is simply click on a part of the picture which will open up in a new window and you’ll need to view an ad, video, or website on their network where advertisers pay for advertising.
I have actually done reviews on several of the advertisers who are paying for these ads which include Neobux, Traffic Monsoon, and Traffic Wave just to name a few. As you will see most of these sites are other PTC sites that are affiliated with Clixsense like I mentioned earlier on in this review.
You’ll have up to 30 chances to win each day as a standard member and 60 chances a day with a premium membership.
The MLM Side Of Clixsense
Their affiliate program is set up so that you can get paid on 8 levels. Not only can you get paid on 8 levels but you also earn money whenever your referrals complete tasks, click on ads, or whenever they do anything you can get paid. How much do you get paid? Well, this depends again on if you’re a standard member or a premium member. Obviously, you’ll get paid a higher percentage if you’re a premium member and I’ll break both of these plans down for you guys and show you the earning potential for each one.
As you see above you only get paid from your direct referrals if you’re a standard member. Premium members unlock the ability to get paid off their referrals up to 8 levels deep.
Here’s What I Liked About It?
- Free to get started
- Accepts Paypal
- Potential to earn money by diversifying your income streams
Here’s What I Didn’t Like About It
- Their tasks have a ridiculously low payout which isn’t really worth your time
- Their 8 tier affiliate program is set up just like an MLM pyramid scheme
- Very limited income potential
- Not a good source of traffic for your website or blog
- Can take up to 60 days for some of their trial offers to be credited to your account
How Much Does Their Premium Membership Cost?
There are actually 2 membership plans that are available for you to join. You can secure your premium account for a mere $17 for the entire year. They also have a 2 yr membership plan for $30.(A 12% savings compared to the 1 yr plan)
Some of the benefits that you’ll unlock once you’re a premium member include:
- Signup commissions
- Higher downline click commissions
- More chances to win in ClixGrid
- More PTC ads available to click
- 8-Tier affiliate program where you can get paid for your referrals activity up to 8 layers deep
Do They Offer Any Help & Support?
Their help and support is in the form of a FAQ page and a help desk. If you have questions or are having technical issues you can submit a support ticket to their help desk. They also have a forum where you can ask questions and get help from other members of the community.
My Final Verdict On Clixsense
Although I don’t have much use for any PTC sites out there and I do feel that any traffic you get from these type of sites to be completely useless. One of the things I happen to like about this particular opportunity is the diversification. There are a variety of different ways you can make some extra pocket money for doing easy tasks.
Can you make any life changing money with this program? Absolutely Not! Like I said earlier this program is OK if you want to earn a little pocket change. However, if you’re looking to make some life changing money then it’s simply not going to happen here.
To be honest with everyone here my time is way to valuable to waste it on programs like this one. I would much rather learn a new skill and have the chance to earn while I learn, instead of taking surveys, clicking on ads, and watching videos, just to make a couple bucks.
If you’re just getting started online I honestly wouldn’t recommend this program as a good starting point for you. There are much better programs out there that were designed especally for newbies that show you how to make money online that don’t involve surveys, trial offers, or clicking on PTC ads.
I really hope this review has given you guys an inside look at what Clixsense is, what you’ll be doing before you join, and whether this is really worth your time or not. Are you currently a member now, or were you a member in the past? I would love it if you would share your experience with this company like I’ve done in this review.
Leave your comments, questions and any experience you may have below. By doing this you’ll be helping other people make a decision as to whether this company is right for them or not.
Until Next Time
