Get Paid Social is another “get paid to” type of site that rewards you for doing simple online tasks that you may already be doing anyway.
This company was founded in December of 2015 by Jeff Long which has created many other make money online products in the past that were pretty shady and not exactly what I would call the best way to get started making money online.
What exactly makes this opportunity any better than his previous ones? That’s what I tend to reveal within this review and show you guys if this program is any better than Jeff’s previous creations.
Let’s get started and see if this program is worth your valuable time or if you’re better off exploring other ways to make money online.
What Exactly Is Get Paid Social?
Like I said earlier, this is a program that rewards you for doing simple online tasks that you may already be doing anyway.
This includes, but is not limited to, liking a FB page, watching a YouTube video, or visiting a website.
When was the last time that you guys have engaged in any of these activities that I’ve listed above?
Well, if you’re the type of person who spends any amount of time online then it’s highly likely that you have performed at least 1 of these things or all of them.
I think the more important question here is when was the last time you were paid for doing these things?
Some of you may feel like this is a pretty silly question but I assure you I have a very legit reason for asking you this.
Jeff has designed a program that he claims will pay you in the form of points for each time you do this and many other various activities online.
How much can you get paid? I’ll be going over this in complete detail in a few minutes as well as showing you the different payment options that are available to you.
There is also an MLM side to this business where you can get paid for referring other people to this program which I’ll also be covering as well.
Who Is This For?
This program actually caters to just about anyone who spends a good deal of their time online and would like to earn some extra moolah in their spare time.
I think we could all use some extra money and what a better way to earn it than by doing something you already do right?
Like I’ve mentioned in many of my other reviews, programs that are set up in this manner are targeted more towards lazy people who aren’t willing to put in the time and effort to build a real business and are looking for an easy way out.
If you happen to fall into this particular category then this program could possibly make a good fit for you and you could benefit from it.
What Will You Be Doing Once You Join?
There are a plethora of things you can do once you join and I’ll list all of these for you guys below!
This includes:
- Liking a Facebook business page
- Following someone on Twitter
- Visiting a website
- Watching a Youtube video
- Joining someone’s email list
- Completing a survey
As I started doing my research of this particular program it looked good to me at first, but the more I searched for other people’s experience with this program and what you would be doing to make money, I started to get a bad taste in my mouth.
Jeff has this setup in a way very similar to the way traffic exchange’s work, or a PTC site (Paid To Click)
If you happen to be an avid visitor to my site you know how I feel about these types of ways of getting traffic to your website
Just like a traffic exchange, you can earn 1 cent for each website that you click on and in return, you can get views to your website.
Another thing that really set me off about this was that a few of the tasks actually violate Facebook’s terms of use and there have been many people who have reported this as spam.
Facebook tends to frown on fake likes and spammy posts that advertise low quality business opportunities and you can actually get your account banned if too many people report you as a spammer.
Pros Vs Cons At A Glance
Pros:
- Free to get started
- Can earn you some money
Cons:
- Setup like a traffic exchange
- Some tasks can get you banned from Facebook
- Ridiculously low-income potential
- Their referral program is set up like a pyramid scheme
- You need to upgrade in order to get more tasks
- Not a good source of traffic for your website
You Can Also Make Money With Their Referral Program
If none of the things I’ve listed above appeals to you then, perhaps you would rather earn money by referring other people to this program and get paid when other people join under you.
Their referral program is set up in an MLM pyramid scheme style and I’ll be showing you how much you can get paid for referring other people, as well as how much you can make when your referrals refer other people.
Here’s How It Works
Whenever your referral upgrades to the premium membership you’ll get paid a $3 commission. If they would happen to refer other people into this opportunity and their referrals happen to upgrade to the premium membership then you would also get paid a $2 commission as well.
This is a recurring commission and you will continue to get paid month after month for the life of the customer.
If you happen to be a premium member you can earn an additional 40% commission on your direct referrals and 10% on level 2 commissions.
Once you have reached their $10 payment threshold these funds will be released to you and you can have this money deposited in your bank account.

What Are Other People Saying About Their Experience With Get Paid Social?
As I was doing my research on this company it seems like wherever I went I found nothing but negative comments from previous customers who joined in the past.
Take a look below at what they had to say about their experience!
As you can see above there have been nothing but complaints about the dishonesty of this program and there are many people who are highly upset and feel like they have been ripped off.
Looking for a better alternative to GPS that doesn’t involve spamming your friends and family on FB or trying to recruit people into another worthless program?

My Closing Thoughts And Recommendation
Due to Jeffs shady past and history of low quality products, this should come as no surprise to you that GPS is following in the footsteps of his previous products.
I actually had high hopes for this one and I was hoping that this time, he would go about things differently but I guess I should have known better.
This has got to be the very first program that I’ve ever reviewed that hides their surveys behind a pay window.
Nobody should EVER charge you a fee to take surveys
Who does that seriously?
There are many, many people out there who call this nothing but another recruiting scheme and a flat out scam.
Personally, I wouldn’t go as far as calling it a scam, but at the same time, I also wouldn’t recommend this as a good way to get started in the online world.
I’m actually sick of these biz-ops where the only way you can make money is by recruiting people and selling the same crap to them that you just bought.
For some people, they are perfectly content with doing this and that’s perfectly fine.
More power to you!
In my own personal opinion, I would consider GPS to be a waste of your time and I definitely wouldn’t advise you to invest in their premium membership if you would decide to join.
I feel like there are much better opportunities out there that are much more worthy of your time and money.
One of the places that have helped me build a business online based on things that I’m passionate about is Wealthy Affiliate.
The amount of training that you get as a free member of WA doesn’t even begin to compare to the value you’ll get with a paid membership at GPS.
If you seriously are looking for a proven and trusted way to make money online you should seriously check them out.
I really hope this review has helped you guys out and hopefully, I’ve been able to give you an inside look at what’s in store for you if you would decide to become a member of this program.
What has your experience been like with GPS so far? Where you able to make any decent money with them or did you feel like you were ripped off and want your money back shortly after you joined?
I would love to hear all about it in the comments below!
