Some Background Information About Vick Strizheus
Before I get started with this review I’d like to give you guys some insight into Vick’s past and give you a heads up as to what exactly you’re getting yourself involved in before you invest any of your hard earned money here.
Before he got involved in the online world, Vick used to sell life insurance for a living and he worked for several leading insurance companies like Mutual of Omaha and Americo.
In 2007 he was convicted of fraud and grand theft!!
He was sentenced to 90 days in prison and also was put on supervised probation.
The court also monitored all of his financial activities and he wasn’t able to leave his home state of South Dakota.
What did he do?
Check out The Video Below For The Details Of His Crimes!!
Several years later he made the decision to move into the online space and has gone on to create many make money online opportunities like High Traffic Academy, Project Breakthrough, and the Big Idea Mastermind.
In the opening sales video for HTA, he claims that he borrowed $30,000 to start his internet marketing ventures.
If the truth were to be told, he swindled this money from several life insurance companies before he was convicted like you guys saw in the video above.
He was also involved in one of the largest MLM Pyramid schemes of all time called The Empower Network.
At the time (2011-2013) Vick was one of the very few people who made it to the top and managed to make millions from recruiting other people into this scheme and convincing them to go all in.
In the early part of 2016, Vick created the four percent group and over the past year, there has been quite a bit of hype surrounding this program.
Is this program any better than his previous make money online opportunities or just another clever scam designed to take your money and leave you with nothing?
Let’s find out!!
What Is The Four Percent Group?
In a nutshell, this is Vick’s version of EN (Empower Network) His entire system is based on recruiting people and selling high ticket items and high-end coaching packages.
You start out on the free level, but in order to earn commissions or advance in the system, you’ll need to purchase other levels to qualify to earn money and move up.
At first glance, this may seem like a pretty legit opportunity as Vick comes off as a pretty sincere guy and you may get the impression that he truly wants to help you succeed online.
However, this simply isn’t the case due to his shady past and the many get rich quick schemes that he’s created over the past few years.
Who Is This System Geared Towards?
If you’re familiar with Vick’s previous work then you’ll know that he targets people who’re desperate to make money online and are looking for an easy way out.
If you’re the type of person who buys into the hype that’s associated with these types of schemes and you’re actually gullible enough to believe you can simply buy your way into earning commissions and work your way to the top then you could possibly benefit from everything TFPG has to offer you.
Also, if you have some previous recruiting experience with other systems and you don’t have a problem deceiving other people and selling overpriced coaching and worthless internet marketing packages then this program could possibly be a good fit for you.
However, if you have a conscience and would rather learn the proper way to build a business online then I don’t think this program would cater to you.
Here’s What I Liked About It
- Free To Get Started
- A decent amount of training available at the free level
Here’s What I Didn’t Like About It
- Uses scare tactics and instills fear into you to get you to join
- Deceptive and unethical marketing tactics
- Marketed as a get rich quick scheme where you’ll make thousands of dollars in a short amount of time
- Involves selling high ticket items (Some as expensive as $25,000)
- Many upsells in the back office
- Fake testimonials
Training & Tools Available When You Join
Once you join at the free level there is actually a good amount of training available to you.
However, as I started going through the training I quickly discovered that this is more or less a funnel to their pro training and higher ticket items.
7 Steps To Results Guide
- Step 1- The Plan, The Details, The Strategy
- Step 2- Payment Account Setup
- Step 3- Funnel Setup
- Step 4- Activating Multiple Streams Of Income
- Step 5- Activate Your Power Base
- Step 6- Get Connected
- Step 7- Operation 100K
This training comes in the form of videos from Vick himself.
This is nothing more than him standing in front of a whiteboard and blabbing about a whole lot of nothing.
LOL!!
The videos contained in these 7 steps basically show you how to set up your sales funnel and drive traffic selling the exact same system that you just bought to other people.
Do you really wanna get involved in another high ticket recruiting scheme where you’ll be required to pass the buck to the next person and sell them the same crap that you just bought?
The Products (If You Wanna Call Them That)
The main system that seems to be the center of attention in the back office is another high ticket system called Tecademics (Formally Internet Marketing College IMC)
This system was created by Chris Records who was also involved in the Empower Network.
Vick and Chris met over at EN and they have remained close friends all this time.
They cross-promote each other’s products and have teamed up on many projects in the past.
Tecademics consists of many levels with some costing as much as $25K!!
That’s freaking insane if you ask me!!
Wouldn’t you guys agree?
This system consists of 4 components and I’ll be listing these for you guys below!!
Entrepreneur club- This consists of live weekly training and a forum. The live weekly training come in the form of webinars. Some of the most successful internet entrepreneurs in the industry will be teaching these classes. You’ll also have access to their forum where you can interact with other people and ask questions.
Impact Series- This is an internet marketing training course that comes complete with video classes, audio classes, as well as workshops. There are 12 modules included in this package and they claim that ou can go from complete newbie to a 6 figure business owner once you complete their entire course.
Tec Week- This is week long internet marketing conference that is being held in Phoenix Arizona 4 times each year.
You’ll gain access to daily classes each day along with hours of recorded training for a grand total of 120 credit hours of live education.
This package is valid for 2 people and lasts up to 2 years.
Ecom Incubator- This course is all about building an ecom business and comes complete with your own web store along with help and support in case you run into any issues along the way.
Instant Traffic Mastery- This is a course that teaches you how to market to people on Instagram and how to turn leads into sales.
This consists of several videos along with text training as well.
There are a few other pieces of training but I’m not going to waste your time or mine on them as I feel the ones I’ve listed above are the only ones that’re worth focusing on.
How Much Would It Cost You To Go All In?
That’s a great question and one that I’ll be answering for you guys below.
As I was doing my research on the cost of a few of these high-ticket packages it literally blew my mind.
I never thought in a million years that someone who actually charge so much money for low-quality products that provide little to no value to you.
I’ll be listing all the costs that’re associated with this program along with a few additional costs that Vick fails to mention.
- Pro Level- $49/monthly
- Tecademics Entrepreneur Club- $100/Monthly
- Tecademics Impact Series- $2,000 One-Time
- Tecademics Tec Week- $10,000 One Time
- Tecademics Ecom Incubator- $25,000 One Time
- Instant Traffic Mastery- $997 One Time
These are some pretty astronomical figures and like I said before it blows my mind to think people are charging this much money for these products.
To make matters worse, the figures that I listed above is only the tip of the iceberg.
You’ll also need the necessary tools to put all of this into action and none of this comes included in your membership when you join.
These are things like:
- Autoresponder
- Landing Pages
- Tracking & Analytics
- Keyword Tool
These all come with a separate cost and range anywhere from $20-$50 per month and up depending on which company you decide to go with.
Let’s do the math here and see how much capital you would need to invest here just to qualify to earn commissions and try to re-coop some of your investment.
If you were to go all in and buy into each one of these levels and purchase the things I listed above you would be looking at upwards of nearly $40,000.00.
These prices are absolutely ridiculous and I don’t feel anyone should have to spend this much money to learn how to market products and services online.
If you’re just getting started online chances are you don’t have $40 grand just laying around.
If you would happen to have this much money laying around you wouldn’t even be searching for a way to make money in the first place would you?
I know I wouldn’t!!

Would I Consider This To Be Another Vick Strizheus Scam?
If you happen to visit my website on a regular basis and have read any of my previous reviews you know that I try and give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
The word scam is a really harsh word and I reserve it strictly for companies out there that take your money and offer you nothing in return.
Due to the fact that you’re receiving an actual product in exchange for your money, I wouldn’t call this a scam.
However, due to Vick’s shady past and his other make money online programs in the past, this isn’t someone that I would feel comfortable trusting with my hard earned money.
Everyone seems to think that high ticket is the way to go when first starting out in the online world but in reality, you’re setting yourself up for failure before you even get started.
Let’s sit here and think about this for a minute……..
What’s the likelihood of you trying to convince someone to purchase a $25,000 internet marketing training course?
Not very good especially if you’re new to this whole online thing and you aren’t a salesman!!
Trust me on this one, alright?
You could put a nice down payment on a house with this type of money and I don’t know why anyone in their right mind would even think of spending this much money on these types of products.
Learning how to build a business online isn’t anywhere near this expensive and as a matter of fact, there are many places that let you Get Started For Free and test drive everything they have to offer you before handing over your credit card.
When I first started here 4 years ago I didn’t have anywhere near this kind of money as I was working a minimum wage job and living paycheck to paycheck.
After sifting through various make money online opportunities and falling for numerous scams, I found a company called Wealthy Affiliate.
This is where I got my start in the online world and the place that has helped me build a uber successful business in the online world.
If you’re sick of programs like this one sucking you in, draining you dry, and leaving you with nothing then I think you owe it to yourself to check out WA for yourself and how they could help you.
Do you guys have a personal experience that you would like to share with everyone here today?
I would love to hear about it and I’m sure other people would as well.
Leave any comments, questions, or any experience you would like to share in the comments below!!

I joined the 4% group in July 2018. Be warned it looks easy at first but it gets more complicated (for a reason) as you go forward. I realized that Vic was stalling for time and making up excuses so he could milk as much money out of his followers as possible. I lost a fair amount of money from this scam! He is also surrounded by certain selected scam artists who are working with him to suck people in. Fake testimonials for sure. Please stay away from this P.O.S.!!
John
All this stuff is crazy crap. Find something you love to do and do it.
The average person is not able to afford these nonesense items.
They aren’t real products and services worth trying to sell to people. People want renewable items that they can use. This is why it’s called “common goods”.
Selling marketing and training schemes, MLM pyramid systems, and worthless high-end products, and marketing tools with no useable products attached to it, is not going to make you money. It could get you arrested or in a court room; for fraud. You can talk value all day but if no one wants it, if it’s not real, and it’s useable it won’t sell. And if it does it won’t last long.
You’ll eventually go broke trying to push junk to non-existent consumers. Pushing junk that people buy may not be totally scam worthy if some idiot thinks it has value but the whole idea that “one mans junk is another mans treasure” is total BS.
Scott Newkirk
Hi John,
I totally agree with you man!!
I have always said that the best way to earn a living online is to find something you love and just do it like you have said.
The average person who is looking to make money online doesn’t have the money to invest in this crap and its programs like this that give the online marketing industry such a bad name.
Making money online is about connecting with people, helping them out, and ultimately providing them with solutions to their problems.
I guess it would be possible to make money selling these MLM training packages and recruiting people into this scheme if you were able to find the right audience that was looking for this type of stuff.
However, it seems like these types of systems don’t end up lasting very long and this isn’t a long term solution for building a profitable business online.
It’s funny that you would mention people being arrested or landing themselves in a courtroom as I happen to watch a great deal of court TV and I see cases like this on there all the time.
It’s just not worth the time, money, and frustration and like you also said you will eventually end up going broke trying to push this crap.
If you’re looking to create any type of long term success it’s best that you learn the basics of marketing and go from there.
I really am glad that you stopped by John and shared your thoughts on this!!
It’s much appreciated.

Alberto
Hi Scott,
I just found out about the 4 percent group and it’s now October 2017. Is it still the same as in the date you posted your article? I see great testimonials.
I’m looking for a good system to make money online.
Thanks.
Scott Newkirk
Hi Alberto,
Yes, this is the same 4 percent group that I reviewed months ago and I wouldn’t recommend this as a good way to get started online.
If you’ve read my review then you’ll know why I feel this way. All the great testimonials are from people who are promoting this scheme.
If you’re OK harassing your friends and family in an attempt to recruit them into another pyramid scheme and show them how to do the same thing to the next person then you could possibly make money here.
However, if this isn’t something you would feel comfortable doing and you would rather learn how to create a REAL business that doesn’t require you to recruit people to make money, then you should definitely check out a program called Wealthy Affiliate.
This is where I learned how to build my business and quit my full-time job of 50-60 hours a week. It’s free to get started and everything you need to get up and running is included in your starter membership.
I’ll also be there to help you every step of the way and answer any questions you may have when first getting started.
I hope this helps and if you have any other questions please let me know Alberto.
Cheers
~Scott~
Corey Levitas
In seeing him throughout the on line media, I’ve also seen him associated with another guy, Miles Segars. Is this another con artist?
Scott Newkirk
Hi Corey,
Yes, Miles and Vick go way back to the Empower network days.
He teamed up with Vick on the big idea mastermind and they have swindled millions of dollars from newbies who are just getting started online.
Miles is another con artist that you need to be aware of and avoid having any dealings with him as well.
I really want to thank you for stopping by Corey and sharing this info with me and everyone else here today.
It’s much appreciated!!

Lyle
Hi Scott,
Thanks for such a thorough and insightful review on the four percent group!!
I’m never heard of this program before nor have I ever heard of this Vick guy but I’m so glad that I came across your review so that I can avoid this program in the future.
You would think that people would do their research on programs like this before investing such crazy amounts of cash into this.
It’s a shame that people out there would rather make a living by charging such crazy prices for training coaching and help and support instead of going about this the right way and showing them the proper way to build a business online.
My heart goes out to anyone who has fallen for this scheme and actually gone all in as you call it.
Thanks again for taking the time to put this information together and I can only hope that other people come across your review before they become Vick’s next victim.
Lyle
Scott Newkirk
You are very welcome Lyle!!
It’s great to hear that you haven’t come across this program as of yet in your ventures online, but if you would happen to come across it you would know to avoid it at all costs.
I agree that you would think people would do their due dilengence beforehand and research this before handing over such large amounts of cash to a conman who’s only out to take your money and run with it.
I feel like it’s my job to warn other people about these types of systems that were created for the sole purpose of taking your money and leaving you with nothing.
I really want to thank you for dropping by today Lyle and chiming in on this review.
It’s much appreciated!

isaac
All I have to say is WOW Scott!!
In the past, I have invested in many of Vick’s previous so called make money online programs but I had no idea that he had a criminal history.
This is absolutely crazy!!
I never was able to make any of them work for me and I ended up spending more money than I actually made.
I have heard plenty of things about the four percent group and I was quite interested in learning more about it until I found out that Vick was behind the whole thing.
After reading your review and learning how this system is setup, I’m glad that I decided to leave this one alone and avoid the whole high ticket BS.
I got wrapped up in several high ticket programs a few years back and ended up losing close to $10,000 thinking that I would make it back quickly.
I couldn’t even imagine throwing away 40 grand on something like this and like you said this is absolutely insane!!
This would be a good down payment on a house and anyone who has this kind of money shouldn’t even be searching for ways to make money online like you’ve already mentioned.
Thanks so much for writing such a detailed review on The Four Percent Group and I hope other people read your review before buying into the hype surrounding this program.
Issac
Scott Newkirk
Hi Issac,
I’m glad that you were able to dodge the bullet this time and avoid falling for another one of Vick’s worthless schemes.
I was actually pretty shocked myself when I found out about his crimes as well, but due to his many other programs he’s created in the past, it makes perfect sense.
I’m glad that my review has given you some insight into how his latest program works and why you should avoid it at all costs.
I’m sorry to hear that you lost nearly 10 grand from other high ticket programs simillar to this one but I guess we live and learn don’t we?
I agree that this would be an excellent down payment on a nice house and I couldn’t imagine forking over this much cash for something like this.
You are most welcome Issac, and thank you for dropping by and offering your 2 cents on this review.
