As I was searching the web lately, checking my rankings, and checking out what keywords were bringing in the most traffic, I couldn’t help but notice that there were a few negative reviews about Wealthy Affiliate.
For those of you who visit my site quite often, you know that I promote WA as my #1 recommendation online.
Let me be the first to say that I don’t think any product or service out there is perfect and every single product created comes with its own set of flaws.
WA is in no way, shape, or form perfect and Kyle himself even acknowledges this and him and Carson are continuously looking for ways to improve their platform.
With that being said, I do believe that WA is one of the best places to learn affiliate marketing and build a successful business online if you’re willing to put in the hard work and effort to be successful.
However, WA isn’t for everyone and there seem to be a few people out there who are convinced that it’s a scam and that all the training does is teach you to bash other products to make money.
In the following blog post, I’ll be providing you with concrete proof that this isn’t the case as well as going over some of the outlandish claims found in a few of these negative reviews.
Kyle & Carson Teach You To Bash Other Products Then Promote WA
This has got to be one of the craziest things I have ever heard and 1 of the biggest lie that is being spread across the web.
Having gone through the Bootcamp training several times, I can attest to the fact that this is nothing more than a bold face lie and I’ll be providing actual screenshots to back it up.
In the Bootcamp training, Kyle teaches you how to write product reviews on a variety of different products and services in the Internet Marketing/ Make Money Online Industry.
He encourages you to be as upfront, honest, and accurate within your reviews and give your 100% honest opinion.
By doing this your readers will be able to get an idea of how the product works and get some insight into whether the particular product you’re reviewing is worth your time and money, or if it’s a complete scam and unworthy of your time or your hard earned money.
Take A Look At The Screenshot Below To Get A Better Idea Of What I’m Talking About!!!
Do you guys see anywhere in the screenshot above where Kyle actively encourages people to bash other programs?
If you take a closer look here you’ll notice that he also refers to JVNotifypro which is an affiliate database of all the latest and soon to be released JVzoo products as a good place to find product information.
The way information is portrayed and how other people perceive it is where I think the problem lies.
There are lots of people out there who are actively going through the Bootcamp and doing the exact opposite of what Kyle tells you to do which I think is wrong.
What I also think is wrong is that the people writing these negative reviews are blaming this on the product instead of doing their proper research and reporting the facts.
WA Fails To Mention That There Is A Cost Involved When Joining
I’m not going to name any names here but the review that has been showing up on the first page of Google here recently for the keyword “Wealthy Affiliate Review” is claiming that WA somehow tricks you into joining and hides the fact that there is a cost associated with joining.
I’m not sure where this idiot got his information but once again he’s WRONG and it’s pretty obvious that he didn’t do his research yet again.
WA Has 2 Price Points When Joining:
- Free Starter Membership
- Premium Membership
There is no cost to get started with WA and on their sales page, they make it perfectly clear that they do indeed have a premium membership.
However, you are in no way obligated to upgrade until you feel comfortable doing so and you are ready to take things to the next level.
There are many people who have joined the free starter membership and actually made money using the 10 free lessons that come included when you join.
This doesn’t happen a whole lot and if you truly are serious about making this work for you and you would like to make any substantial amount of money it would be in your best interest to invest in the premium membership.
Does this look like they are trying to hide anything to you guys?
What else stands out to you guys in the screenshot above?
Do you notice anything different about their sales page that you rarely see when joining other make money online opportunities?
In case you didn’t notice, a credit card isn’t required to join and this isn’t a 7-day trial where you’ll be charged an insane amount of money after your trial is up.
The free membership lasts forever and the only stipulations you’ll encounter if you decide not to go premium is limited resources and communication within the community.
You’ll still be able to access the 2 websites, 10 training lessons, and the tools that came included with your starter packet.
Bashing Good Products To Promote WA
This person who will remain anonymous also claims that WA affiliates are bashing completely good and legit products in an attempt to promote WA.
Everyone’s opinion will be different and what 1 person may consider to be an excellent program could be perceived as a complete ripoff and waste of time to the next person.
Here are just a few of the so called legit programs that he claims are some of the best products ever below
Let’s talk about these products for a minute and see just what is so great about them and what qualifies them to be some of the “Best” products ever.
100K Factory is a training program that claims to show you how to earn $100,000 within your first 60 days.
Get Rich Quick Scheme?
I actually reviewed this product on my website (Check my review out here)
If you take a look at my review you’ll notice that I actually had quite a few positive things to say about this course and told you to go for it if you had the extra $3,000 laying around.
I didn’t bash the product or call it a scam but rather pointed out that it was pretty pricey and recommended WA as a more cost effective option.
Would I consider this to be a good product?
In my honest opinion No I would not!!
Why?
This is mainly due to the high ticket price of nearly $3,000 just to get started.
When getting started online you should NEVER have to pay anywhere near this insane amount of money to learn how to make money online.
To me, this just sounds really risky and not a good choice in my opinion.
Google Sniper 3.0 is nothing more than a rehashed version of George brown’s GS2 which consists of nothing more than a PDF file and a few videos.
George brown is well known for his low quality products and in some cases flat out scams and this should throw up a red flag as soon as you hear his name.
With their deceptive marketing tactics and unethical training, there isn’t anything at all good about this product.
One of the Best products out there?
Seriously?
You can read my full review of Google Sniper 3.0 here!!
Inbox Blueprint is a course that teaches you email marketing and shows you how to generate thousands of dollars overnight with his system.
Overall the training is pretty solid and there were a few things I liked about it.
However, I think you should learn how to drive organic traffic to your website first, and have a good flow of traffic coming to your site before you learn how to start building your list and learning email marketing.
This also comes with a pretty steep price tag as well and in my own personal opinion isn’t a good fit for newbies who are just getting started online.
Read all about Inbox Blueprint 2.0 here!!
We are all entitled to our own opinions and have the right to believe what we want to and that’s perfectly fine.
Instead of thinking of this as bashing products, I like to think of it as trying to match people up with the right product or service that would fit their needs the most and help them out in the best possible way.
Isn’t that the whole point in writing reviews in the first place?
You Are Forced To Promote WA
This has got to be one of the most absurd things that I’ve ever heard in the 4 years that I’ve been a member of WA.
This couldn’t be further from the truth and to be honest with you Kyle actually recommends that you don’t promote WA until you are a member for at least a couple of months.
This way you can get a good feel for how WA works and learn to navigate it pretty well before deciding to promote it.
Doesn’t this make sense?
If you check out the screenshot below you’ll notice that he actually recommends that you get rolling with the certification niche training and NOT the boot camp training.
More lies and deception!!
It seems like they are doing a whole lot of bashing themselves so they should practice what they preach.
So Is Wealthy Affiliate A Scam?
I think that question should be pretty obvious and hopefully, this post has cleared up many of these bogus claims and nasty lies that are floating around the web about WA.
Wealthy Affiliate is definitely not a scam and I’m living proof of that.
Do you think I would be a paying member for close to 4 years now if it was a scam?
I think not!!
If WA was a scam do you think that they would let you get started for free with no credit card required?
Also like I said earlier, there are many people who don’t follow the training and tend to skip over the lessons and this is why you see so many WA affiliates going against the training and do things their own way.
I don’t think it’s fair to blame the product here when that is clearly not where the issue lies, but rather people failing to follow directions.
I understand that WA isn’t for everyone and that’s fine but instead of writing a review that’s full of nothing but lies and false accusations why not report the facts and get your story straight?
At the end of the day, it’s up to you to decide who to believe.
Are you really going to listen to some guy who has NEVER been a member and clearly has no idea what he’s talking about over someone who has been an active member for 4 years and knows what he’s talking about?
Anyways, I hope this post has helped you guys out and hopefully this has cleared up many of the misconceptions that you may have had about WA.
Do you guys have something you would like to add?
I would love to hear about it in the comments below!!
